mASH-ups
A mash-up is a Web page or application that integrates complementary elements from two or more sources. Mash-ups are often created by using a development approach called Ajax. Here's a sampling of mash-up Web sites:
Panoramio : a mash-up of Google Maps and geopositioned photographs of locations
Hiking Outpost: a mash-up of Amazon and online hiking information resources
Flash Earth: a zoomable mash-up of Google Maps and Microsoft's Virtual Earth
Diggdot: a mash-up of Digg, Slashdot and Del.icio.us that integrates and filters content
HousingMaps: a mash-up of Google Maps and Craigslist rental ads that displays geographical information for rental properties.
Like blogs, vlogs and tagging, mash-ups are part of an ongoing shift towards more a more interactive and participatory Web (Web 2.0) with more user-defined content and services. According to Aaron Boodman, quoted in BusinessWeek online, "The Web was originally designed to be mashed up. The technology is finally growing up and making it possible."
The term mash-up originated in the music industry. It is sometimes spelled mashup.

Hyper what??
HyperText Transport Protocol Secure
The protocol for accessing a secure Web server. Using HTTPS in the URL instead of HTTP directs the message to a secure port number rather than the default Web port number of 80. The session is then managed by a security protocol such as SSL.

Information security

The protection of data against unauthorized access. Programs and data can be secured by issuing passwords and digital certificates to authorized users. However, passwords only validate that a correct number has been entered, not that it is the actual person. Digital certificates and biometric techniques (fingerprints, eyes, voice, etc.) provide a more secure method. After a user has been authenticated, sensitive data can be encrypted to prevent eavesdropping.
SHTTP
SHTTP is Secure HTTP , that means that it is a protocol that provides secure transactions over the Web. It is endorsed by a variety of organization. Security protocol is a sequence of operations that ensure protection of data. Used with a communication protocol, it provides secure delivery of data between two parties. The term generally refers to a suite of components that work in tandem.

Youtube
YouTube is a popular free video sharing web site which lets users upload, view, and share video clips. Founded in February 2005 by three employees of PayPal, the San Bruno-based service utilizes Adobe Flash technology to display video. The wide variety of site content includes movie and TV clips and music videos, as well as amateur content such as videoblogging. It is staffed by 67 employees. In October 2006, Google, Inc., announced that it had reached a deal to acquire the company for $USD1.65 billion in Google's stock. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
The key of its success
What made YouTube so madly successful? Clips from copyrighted TV? People doing crazy stunts? Talented pets? All of those things. What made YouTube work was that it was “the place”. It was the corner of the park after 7pm, it was the back of the bike sheds, it was where to go. It was where to waste some time; it was where to find stuff to stick on your page and mail to your friends.

English a dominant language in the internet

The Internet will in turn become the dominant place to learn English. The way languages are learned is changing, and these changes are accelerating.
The Internet is constantly evolving. It has created a dynamic environment for the communication and the management of information. The Internet has brought with it new forms of social interaction without boundaries. Technologies like MP3, iPod, Skype and PDAs, as well as blogs and podcasts, are making an immense variety of communication, information, literature, news and other language content available anywhere and anytime. A cascade of developments is causing interactive communities to spring up based on common interests, without regard to geography. This is going to stand traditional language learning on its head. English dominates on the Internet in areas ranging from entertainment to science. If you want to learn English, this represents an unprecedented opportunity.
You can access English language content on any subject and learn from it. You can connect with English speaking people who share your interests. You can do this via e-mail, through blogs, podcasts and forums. You can link up with friends or even language tutors using free Internet telephony. The World Wide Web is the ultimate dynamic classroom and learning community.
Over the next few years the Internet will take over from the classroom as the place of choice to learn English.
Vocabulary over Grammar
On the Internet you can use online dictionaries to look up words instantly from babylon
There are learning software programs which create customized word lists for you as you learn words. This software can help you accumulate example sentences for these words from the familiar contexts you are listening to and reading. You can set vocabulary goals and follow your progress towards these goals.
The Internet helps you to efficiently accumulate vocabulary based on lively and interesting language content, customized to your needs. This combination of vocabulary learning efficiency and limitless content is only part of why the Internet will become the place of choice to learn English. A good way to hear news from the web is from the bbc, cnn; or another pages of actually news.

DRM
Digital Rights Management or DRM, is a content creator's way to try to limit how you use the content that you obtain from them. It's possible to create computer programs that constrain your use of a sound recording so that it's only played just once, or some fixed number of times. You can use DRM to revoke the right of the user to listen to something they have on their computer if they do something you don't like, like cancel paying for your service. You can use it to let them make only a limited number of copies. Although DRM is usually poorly executed, the reasoning behind it is somewhat understandable, especially to musicians. Once you sell someone a CD, they can basically just put it on the Internet and share it to the world. Why should anyone buy music if you can just get it for free? The digital world has created a place where information can be shared without constraints, and music has become information. You would like to regain control over what you're selling someone, so they can listen to the music but not give it away. What most non-musicians don't seem to understand is that just because music is easy to copy and share does not mean that it's easy to write and record. Some large music companies and musicians see this as a way of regaining balance.
The Problem Is That It Doesn’t Work
Unfortunately, DRM is useless for just about every goal that its advocates have tried to achieve with it. It's incomplete, is easily broken, and is often poorly written software. It most strongly affects the customers that pay for the music, and barely affects people that share the music all over the Internet. Few businesses do well when they make it difficult for their customers to use their products, and these companies seem to be finding this out due to lost sales, lawsuits, and bad press. For me, it doesn't affect anybody.
Web neutrality

Web neutrality, what does this means?
The phrase Network Neutrality describes networks that don't favor some destinations over others, or classes of application (for example the World Wide Web) over others (such as onlinegaming or Voice over IP). It may have originated in the age of the telegram in 1860 or even earlier, routing all messages equally without attempting to discern their contents and adjust for one application or another. Such networks are "end-to-end neutral." "Network neutrality" now refers to the behavior of those who actually run networks -- Internet Service Providers -- rather than those who design them, and indicates whether those ISPs attempt to systematically discriminate in the routing of the packets they process. Advocates of network neutrality claim that large telecommunications providers are attempting to unfairly profit from their investment in residential networks: In my opinion, only the government can create "prejudice" on the Internet. There isn't anyone "controlling" the Internet. Companies only provide access. The Goverment liberals have used the cheap "blame big corporations" to get support and increase its power before and here we go again. The federals will control what you can and can't see and what services should be provided or not.
Bad habilities

Identity theft occurs when a criminal uses another person's personal information to take on that person's identity. Identity theft is much more than misuse of a Social Security number-it can also include credit card and mail fraud. To prevent and help to recover your identity; the identity theft ressource center will help you in any problem you had.
The following precautions are recommended by the US Federal Trade Commission :
Shred documents and paperwork which contain personal information before you discard them. Don't give out personal information unless you know who you are dealing with. Never click on links in unsolicited emails; instead, type in a web address which you know Use firewalls, anti-spyware, and anti-virus software to protect your home computer; Don't use obvious passwords like your birth date or your mother's maiden name Keep your personal information in a secure place at home Be alert for discrepancies in your financial bills and statements and query them immediately Report fraud as soon as you detects.
Everybody can be victim of an identity theft; but we will be always carefuls on not writing our real names or adresses in sites we don't really know about them; or in any page; we shouldn't give especially our date of birth.

The six qualites I have

The six qualities of a good professional begins with generosity beacause being generous would help you in all the ways of your life. It's important to give others all you are able to give them. We can find generosity as a model of organizations in e-culture, and is so important in the internet culture because in you work with internet you can share all type of documents, even videos or music on line.
Discipline is the magic word when it comes to lifestyle change and it is a word ... comes down to discipline. If you don' have discipline in your life, then you will have problems in your family relationship and in your professional career. For example the persons who work in the internet will be more carefull to not be all day in the computer and overlook their family.
For me; patience means resistance against all types of barriers, and be able to wait results. An example and a very beautiful message of patience you can find on this page
Perseverance means to continue steadily in some state, purpose, course of action, or the like, in spite of opposition. In spite of opposition! In my opinion is to never give up. Failure is what happens when you quit, not when you continue. The road to success is dotted with parking lots, filled with the failure of those that were not willing to get up, and try again. A good example of perseverance in internet are the guys thet invented google Why? because with a little bit of perseverance they are millionaires now!!
Insigths or staying focused: Even before physical stamina comes into play, your mental attitude must be able to pull you through. Of course you need to adjust your sails for the changing wind but know your goal and don’t lose focus, don’t loose interest and don’t loose your drive.
Be comprehensive doesn't mean that you listen and yous say yes to all questions. Comprehension menas that you can really have the patient and the generosity of listening; it doesn't care if you don't have the humour. You can also gain guidance from those that have persevered and triumphed over adversity by learning never to quit. An example; if you can't understand your colleagues; then try to do it; every day it's a good day to begin!
The offers of the internet
